Description of Service HTTPS Cert

Description

This service makes monitoring of the remaining period of a website's SSL certificate possible.
You can check if the cerficate of the monitored website will expire within a given time frame.

Form Field

Port	Web server's port of the website to be monitored. (default value: 443)

Virtual host	DNS name of the virtual host that is physically present on the current server. This parameter is optional.

Minimum Validity [Days]	Threshold OK status for remaining period of the certificate in days.

Timeout [sec]	Time in seconds before a connection attempt times out. If a timeout occurs, the status of the services is changed to Critical.

Identifier	Identifier that should be characteristic for the service. This identifier makes assigning services easier if you are using several services of the same type on one server. It is specified in the report and the notification.

Availability Report

OK	Server responding, reply to query, status code in the HTTP protocol 200, remaining period until expiration of the certificate is greater than threshold

Warning	Server responding, reply to query, status code in the HTTP protocol 200, remaining period until expiration of the certificate is less (or equal) than threshold

Critical	Server not responding, no reply to query within the timeout, HTTP error code 5xx, certifictae is already expired
